About to get the fire going with glass of Brandy and cigar. Debating on music. Sinatra/Martin/Crosby mix or Mayer/Nutini/LaMontagne?

Trombone Shorty. Start with the “Swingin Gate” album for mostly jazz, then move onto “Orleans and Claiborne”, “For True”, “Backatown”, “Say This To Sat That” and “Parking Lot Symphony” for a good mix of jazz, funk and Shorty-awesomeness.

maybe an actual album, in order, beginning to end? Lamontagne would be my choice among those listed. But I don't like the Rat Pack, so I'm biased.

All right, I’ll switch to whiskey.

But I’m not listening to Tom Waits.

Are you guys married with kids? How do you get away with listening to music at night? Headphones? I’m about to look for a new house with a room far away from bedrooms or a nice pair of wireless headphones.

then you don't deserve whiskey

There is a really cool bar/restaurant in the Locust Point neighborhood in Baltimore (my wife's cousin and wife live less than a block away), great food/drink, people are friendly and interesting....and the owner plays Tom Waits alot.....I love that place....
