I think we are better at OLB than most think, just need to add depth in later rounds or in FA. If Shariff Floyd is there when we pick, I would love to get him. If not, I say we either go with Vacarro or one of the top CBs (Rhodes, Trufant, Banks, etc..). Getting Vacarro would kill two birds with one stone...we could move MJ over to CB and also have a SOLID FS/SS (whatever we decide on Harper).

I'd like to see us grab Ed Reed and Victor Butler in FA. Draft Vacarro and put him out at SS. Our safety tandem would be elite, top-notch. Butler will come cheap and provide good depth.

I think we should go OT. Defenses got blown out in the playoffs. If Brees has all day to throw we can beat any defense. Get help in free agency on defense.

It's all about protecting Brees. If we drafted an OT in the first and sign bushrod or Bushrod and Jake Long. One can dream. I think we have to keep brees upright and get a running game going. We need that 2009 unbeatable offense.

That's a question to answer once that the free agency period has come and gone. To me, our biggest need right now is free safety, but the position that would make more sense to draft is offensive tackle.

I don't seeing us taking an OT in the first round even if Bushrod is gone. There's plenty of scope for a replacement at a good price with all these tackles going on the market. Plus I think all the best ones, Joeckel, Fisher and Johnson will be taken.

If Lane Johnson there at 15 I say take him, I don't see comong back next year. This year draft seems loaded with defense.

Pass rusher OLB or NT...depending on who is available when we pick.... I think every need will be net, its just what position gets addressed in what round depending on who high in the draft board when we pick.

Better at OLB? Ummh no.

We don't have a starting quality player at the most important position in the 3-4.

You need a guy who can give you reliably 10 sacks at each OLB spot.

We need starters at:
ROLB, LOLB, RILB, FS, WDE

Could use upgrades at:
NT, CB, SS

with the way this team has mismanaged draft picks the last few years and our bad contracts I don't see an easy way out soon....will be a long rebuild and I hope Brees still has enough in the tank when we reap the benefits

No thanks on Shariff Floyd, he has little T-Rex arms.

I'm not sold on Wilson's pass rush abilities. He's a great blitzer and shoots gaps with the best of them but when tackles know he's coming he's meh. I hope we move him to the inside.

Sign Butler and draft the best pass rushing OLB available. It doesn't matter who you have at safety, without a pass rush they're toast.

Im thinking maybe NT,DE,CB
but Im really hoping we can get Vacarro

I think we're ok at DE now we're changing to a 3-4, with Jordan, Hicks, Johnson, Walker, Broughton and with Will Smith coming back as well.

It's OLB, NT, S, CB, one of those.
