I really hope we sign a solid starting DT. Our picks are too late to bet on a late first round DT contributing this year.

I think, jus like RB, we should do BOTH: sign a vet in FA, then “double dip” for another one in the draft.

It’s a pretty deep draft for RBs, so I think we could get a good one in da 3rd or maybe even the 4th rd. IF we can sign a big back in FA, I’d love to get a Tyjae Spears, who would b a perfect “change of pace” back for us.

At DT, sign a vet who can give us 25-30 “quality snaps” esp against the run! But IF he’s available at 29, I’m keeping my eye on Mazi Smith outta Michigan! He’s big: 6’3” 337 lbs, n strong: 34 reps. But he’s more than a “space eater”. He’s also quick enough to play either DT position. I think he’d b a good get for us! We’ll see.

DL is prob the next priority. I think we’ll sniff around the more established DTs in FA like Dalvin Tomlinson, A’Shawn Robinson or Jarren Reed. But I believe that 2nd tier of FA DTs have a lot of untapped high upside guys. A dude like Khalen Saunders or Larry Ogunjobi or Jerry Tillery can quietly end up being huge gets for us. I think that’s prob where we’ll get a guy. I foresee IOL & WR will also be addressed in FA.

I think at 29, the pick will be EDGE. Power rushers like Lucas Van Ness, Tuli Tuipulotu, & Felix Anukide-Uzomah all fit the bill of the teams prototypical EDGE.

It's definitely DT. I do not think they are looking for stars at the position but lunch pale guys who can stop the run and contain lanes while guys like Jordan, Davenport (if he returns) Granderson, Turner, Davis, Werner and Elliss can rush the passer.
