A 75 dollar necklace? I'd probably throw it away or melt it down myself since it was the ex's.

I paid more than $75 for it! I just wanted to get Gears of War Judgement out of it!

Seriously! Take it down to the corner pub and raffle it off for $5 or $10 a chance. Get 19 white poker chips and 1 blue one ("Sons of Katie Elder" style) have them draw chips in the order they bought chances. The one who pulls the blue chip wins the necklace. You make a few bucks, the winner gets a nice gift (to say he's sorry for coming home ****faced), and everybody gets a laugh or two.
