Let's say your parents wanted to put all of your toys in a pile and burn it to the ground but they'd let you keep one toy, what would it have been? For me I would have had a hard time deciding between G.I. Joe and Major Matt Mason but likely would have chosen Major Matt Mason and all of his cool gear....

i just can't pick a favorite...if i had to i guess GI joe

Yeah, I had those! I bet I could guess your age within a year or two. :mwink:

I dunno man. Those things were popular from the late 60s to the late 70s. At least from the early 70s to the late 70s. That's a big gap.

Go ahead and guess. I give you +/- 3 years. :)

I loved those guys. The back of the boxes were awesome, but of course you could never pull off what they were getting done on the back of the boxes.

Later, in my adult life, some friends and I got drunk and decided that now that we were capable of reproducing the "back of the box" type of scenarios that we should try it. So we built a huge Stomper track in my back yard.

It got old fast, so we went to an all you can eat seafood place. I still have a depression in my back yard that could use some fill.

GI joe, WWF wrestlers, and Starting Lineup figures. Even though they had the green base on them and you could move them very well I still managed to have fun.

Forgot about that. I loved playing that too. I still have mine, but its quite as old as that one. Probably from early 90's. I had the Skins and Broncos. I have always wanted to turn the board into a table to use for my sports room. One of these days I will get around to it.
