Honest question. What do you expect will be the outcome of all of this mess.
I don’t know if there is an answer. Rules, laws, and any other type of recommendations will not change a thing. This is more a sign of the times that we live in now. There is so much evil in the world. People have lost all value for human life.
I hate this happened and think it is possibly one of the worst things I’ve ever heard of or seen. Prayers go out for the family.
If we as a society were able to stamp out this type of actions then we wouldn’t have rapes murders or any other horrible crimes.
unfortunately I think this will be a never ending night mare that are kids will be living long into their lives.

Hopefully it will grower wider in spectrum and take on the corruption of the Political Parties and injustices that are being perpetrated on the American public such as income inequality, oligarchs and kleptocracy. Big money owns both the Senate and House as well as the entrenched partisan leadership. There is class warfare going on in this country and the middle and lower classes are losing.

Pretty much a Green New Deal, 1984, and war, that's how I see it playing out. I think in 10 years we won't even recognize our world as we have known it before. World leaders want cashless society and R.F.I.D..

Specifically, what elements of 1984 do you worry about seeing?

I think I've just been surprised over the years at how the middle and lower class has been rendered (and appeared) helpless. It seems through being beaten into economic stagnation, we've in some sense lost our sense of outrage about an oligarchic system that keeps weighing on our backs, that never sleeps. But I do see a spark in this movement that may lead to more demanding, not asking, the system to change. I see young people more engaged. We've seen sparks like this before. Time will tell if it changes anything drastically.

The George Floyd murder has brought a huge spotlight to police brutality in America and so many other incidents all over this country that get swept under the rug by 'the club'. It was the American people who were outraged and with help from living in the digital age, atrocities are being broadcast for all the world to see. The American people are starting to become the judge and juror in so many of these cases -- it's really fascinating to see. Could that lead to a dystopian future? Most definitely. I worry about that too. But right now the American public outraged by the killings of unarmed people of color are militarizing the internet against dirty cops. And I can't say I don't like that.

Now...Will this translate to economic, environmental, etc. justice as well as racial justice? I don't know that answer.

Take the gun violence issue. We see all of these promises and even fulfilled promises after mass shootings about gun reform. Is it not sick that we only change when people, children in many cases, are slaughtered? That is what deeply disturbs me.

But what I do know is that I think Americans are again starting to see that they have the power to shift the Overton window as they see fit, and to do so in expedited fashion. IF that materializes into structural change is yet to be seen.
