I'm going to need some more argument for one side or the other here. Otherwise, I won't know which side to become a fanboy for. I'll likely chose the side opposite of the people who are easiest to troll, but I'm not sure what side that is yet. Moar crying will be necessary here. FWIW, XBox1 is currently in the lead.

I wish I could guarantee that I would always be able to afford internet service. However, with everything that has transpired with my profession over the last few years who the hell knows when or if I will be fired. And if that happens, internet takes a back seat to family needs.
I would feel better having a system that didn't require something that I may have to do without.

If you are so down on your luck that you can't afford internet, you shouldn't be worried about video games anyway.

I think at this point it's a matter of what you've already invested in. If you have a lot of PSN stuff, then most of the downloaded data will likely port to the PS4. If you have a ton of stuff invested in Xbox Live, then that's where you're heading. I don't think anyone is sick of their respective side.

It's sorta like me with my Amazon Kindle. I'm pretty invested in Amazon media and services, that now I can't see myself getting an iPad, because I literally have nothing in iTunes.

No doubt. That's why I am going to pick the side opposite of the most cryers.

But, I'm not really invested in either. I have (had) both a 360 and a PS3, but have no PSN content. In the end, I'll probably pick the one that most of the people I know are playing since I don't have any real friends.

But, in the long term, I'm sure I will own both since there will be games on each that I want to play. The only real question is which one will end up being my go to system. That being said, if the price is too high for one or the other system, it could end up making more sense to pick one system and go to PC for additional gaming.
