With a healthy Winston, Thomas and Lutz, the defense we have, we would have won the NFC South and probably go to Super Bowl

Excellent point on the PATs. 9 missed in a season is just bonkers. I think if we started with Maher from the first game, maybe he makes most of those. So looking at FGs. We missed 5 FG attempts this season. One of those misses lost us a game but overall we were 83%. In 2020 Lutz missed 5 FGs and came in at 82%. Not much difference other than we attempted 10 extra FGs this year as opposed to last year. 28 in 2020 and 38 this season. More FG attempts this season likely because of our woeful offense not scoring TDs.
Where Lutz earns his money is extra points. Our kickers missed 9 extra points this season for a terrible 81%. Lutz on the other hand missed only 1 last season so 98%. Thats gold.
So while Lutz is a key component his FG percentage isn't other worldly. But Lutz has had better FG averages overall. He definitely has more upside then what we had this season.
Probably not feasible, but I wish we could keep 2 kickers on the roster. If our luck from this season carries over Lutz is fully healthy, so we cut Maher
Lutz gets hurt again early on but someone has signed Maher and we do the whole bad kicker carousel again
