According to the value chart, NFL Draft Countdown - Trade Value Chart, it would be an exact match of value to trade our #10 and #78 for their #7. Is this the only option?
In 2007, the Patriots traded the #28 pick for a future 1st and 2007 4th round pick (#110)
In 2007, the Cowboys traded the #22 pick for a future 1st with no extra compensation.
I know I'm comparing top ten trades with bottom half trades, but what if we didn't lose our #10 pick this year? Would a future 1st and this year's 2nd be overpaying for the #7? What if we could have Dorsey/Ellis AND McElvin/DRC?
Thoughts?
