I've also smoked them and then finished wrapped in foil in the oven, and that methods works decently, but a little more prone to drying out. The braising method is my favorite, but I love beef short ribs so much, so I'm always up for trying different methods.I love short ribs and do a few different recipes. Your ribs look juicy and sticky and really good... what's your recipe?
