With Dune dropping today it got me thinking about my all time favorite books, Dune being among them. I gave up trying to rank it and just decided to come up with my favorite 4.

In no particular order:

Dune
Lord of the Rings (I know this is a cheat, but I'm not eating up 3 picks with one story)
Watership Down
Confederacy of Dunces.

And next week it might be different.

LoTR
Time Enough for Love
The Stand
The Galactic Milieu

As cliche as it is, for me it’s truthfully Catcher in the Rye…. I read it in 8th grade and it totally changed the way i saw the world, even today…. Also How to Win Friends and Influnce People.. it didnt exactly make me Mr Popularity or anything, but it was just sort of fascinating, psychologically-speaking, and i really loved it‘s principles at the time i read it.

Also A Heartbreaking Work of Staggering Genius… and The Firm

Several Stephen King books
Interview with a Vampire series
The Jack Ryan books

that's off the top of my head I'm sure I"ll think of more

Boys Life - Robert McCammon
River God - Wilber Smith
Ready Player One - Ernest Cline
The Martian -Andy Weir

Can’t go wrong with Watership Down either

I'm not well read enough, so that will bias my picks.

However. I agree with the LoTR trilogy.

Romeo and Juliette (I haven't read much other Shakespeare to know if I'm missing out).

To Kill a Mockingbird.

Siddhartha

Night by Elie Wiesel

And I think the Bible is going to take George Washington's spot, ya know?
