I'm leaving for New Orleans tomorrow evening. When I have attended parades in the past, it was where they started on Napoleon and on to St. Charles.

There about a 3 block stretch of St Charles between Julia and Poydras where all the parades will run
Endymion will come the opposite direction from the others - should be interesting
Have to say I can’t begin to imagine what that 3 block stretch is going to be like

So you ferried inThis city can take Endymions messed up route and shove it. I’m so P'Oed. If you work in the French Quarter you are totally screwed. I broke my arm riding my bike in two years ago. This year I take the ferry. No problem. Take the ferry back, no problem... until you get to the other side and NOMTOC has you completely trapped like a rat. Parade is over but I’ve still been sitting and moving a block every 15 minutes. Bottleneck traffic trying to get out of the point.
No I feel youNo I live in Algiers but on the other side of DeGaulle from the point. I thought I could slip down the back way towards the Chalmette Ferry but it was all blocked. Now I’m just sitting on Mardi Gras Blvd of all places. My back hurts and I get something like claustrophobia when I can’t move in traffic. It’s no joke
I might sound like a old man. No thanks to all that. I like keeping my butt inside the house 365 evenings a year and 366 on leap years.you have just described my perfect idea of hell and that is a lot of sinners to pack into three blocks.

You can't get to Patterson? Just go a bit out way and up and track back down?No I live in Algiers but on the other side of DeGaulle from the point.
