where did the spelling checker go? (1 Viewer)

I think one would clean up a lot of mistakes and make reading this forum easier.

The spellchecker on the last version of the forum was a hack that Andrus (or Klenzade - can't remember) added. This version has it's own copy built in. The problem is, if you switch to the editor needed to use it, you lose the copy/paste function of the left-click mouse button. (At least that's what I remember from CLMAO's explanation.)

There are three different 'editor's available on this forum. If you go to your UserCP, and click "options" and scroll all the way to the bottom, you'll see it. The default setting is "basic" which doesn't show the smilie page. The "standard" setting is what I use, which shows smilies but not spell checker. Then there's the "WYSIWYG" editor which is the most advanced, but has the mouse button issue that can be annoying. Feel free to try the different editors to find what works for you. But yes, I miss that easy "check spelling' button, too!

If you use Firefox 2.0 it provides a spell checker on every text box you type in. I think Internet Explorer does the same thing.
