Recommendations appreciated. Preferably a good place to eat lunch, too.

I recently moved to Birmingham, AL and could not find a Saints bar. I know there are sports bars that play Saints games. I’m talking about a legitimate passionate Saints Bar. Long story short, the owner of The Rougaroux is going to give it a shot and see if enough people show up to make it work. He plans on having an all you can eat type buffet with red beans/rice, jambalaya, boudin balls, wings, a cash bar, and of course the game. Would anyone here have any interest or know someone who would. Let’s make this work! Who Dat!

Alright. Take my word for it!! I have lived here for like 12 years. You must try a place called JUBILEE JOES!!!!!!! ( In Hoover)

They are all saints fans and REALLY NICE PEOPLE !! They always play the Saints and LSU.

The best part is the food is AMAZING. It is SOOOOOOO AUTHENTIC!!

This place makes Birmingham/ Tuscaloosa tolerable for us displaced Who Dats!

Well, that’s definitely good to know. Rougaroux has excellent food as well and it is in an old wood sided building that reminds me of the old places in NOLA. They also already have the NOLA decor and vibe going on. All they are missing is the Saints games. It’s going to be an awesome season! Who Dat!!

Whoa! More Bham people here than I thought.

Try Cajun Boys in Pelham. Saints and LSU games and the food is solid. Family restaurant and they're from Mandeville.
