What would Drew's title be if the city of New Orleans was an independent monarchy based on Feudal British peerage? Not just his rank with the Saints, but with the city as a whole.

If you voted other than king, who would you submit is "King of NOLA?"

edit: "Noble" encompasses Duke, Marquis, Earl, Viscount, and Baron

I would say Prince. People love him and when things go bad they never blame it on him. Sean would be king, when everything is right people love him. Something goes wrong he is getting the blame.

This is great.

As long as I am either the Baron or the Knight, I'd be cool. They get all the women. :9:

Unfortunately, I think Benson would have to be regarded as the "King in absentia"...since he pays the bills...

Payton is the Steward (ala Denethor in Lord of the Rings...minus the long hair, throwing his son on a fire and jumping off a cliff bits)

Coaching staff are the Dukes

Brees is a Baron

Reggie is a prince (fits doesn't it)

Deuce, Colston and MM are knights...maybe one or two others

the rest are peasants who can be mercilessly treated and abused...huh

On this line, if London ever got a franchise (I know it's not likely, but I think the league would love it - Goodell being the league - though organising a schedule would be a nightmare), what would it be called? the London Knights? British Crusaders? Pond Scum People? (I live in England, btw)

Ronald Reagan didn't even throw a football and he led the free world. Who in NOLA WOULD be king then?

Just thought it would be a fun distraction between mock drafts # 45 and #46.

Prince.....In order for Drew to be King he needs a ring (Superbowl), for all to kiss and pay homage.
As far as the King of NOLA, no one has stepped up to the plate yet. I would say Brad Pitt b/c of everything he is doing for the city, it is uncoventional but all the while it is making progress. The only thing, he is not a native and our King should have royal blood in their veins.
