The few times I tune in, I never seem to hear him. He used to be on all the time. Anyone know what the deal is?

Because he's the worst sportscaster in the history of mankind. Sportscasters and fans alike have no problem at all criticizing players. However, if you criticize a sportcaster I guess that makes you just plain mean. I am sure away from the microphone, Kenny is a fine person. In front of the microphone he's an arogant, self righteous, no talent, self important, uninformed boob. Did I go to far?

not only that, but (believe it or not) there is such a thing as karma (or sowing and reaping or however you want to term it)... wishing for someone to lose his job bothers me a little bit (or a lot bit)

So with that line of reasoning, no NFL player should ever lose their job to a more talented player. Or for that matter no one should ever lose their job due to incompetence or poor job performance. We wouldn't want any bad karma floating around everwhere. Way to think it thru.

I would celebrate with Hevus about Kenny Wilkerson not dumbing down the main radio channel of our beloved Saints, but it's not like they replaced him with a knowledgeable, intelligent, talented, courteous, and interesting person--all we get in his place is more of Deke.

LOL, you're pretty over the top with it (i.e. "foolish"), but I do agree that Wilkerson's not really half the sportscaster he is in his own mind. He's very arrogant, for no real reason, and that makes him very hard to listen to. I think it's just in his nature for whatever reason. Look at his old posts, and he was very much self-absorbed and pretty arrogant. I don't wish him any harm, however. It's a pretty stupid move to do so.
