I loved Riggins and Bettis.
Here’s something interesting.
Bettis retired after his age 33 season.
Riggins age 34... 1,347 yards rushing, 24 TD
Riggins age 35... 1,239 yards rushing, 14 TD
I’m not saying it makes Riggins better than Bettis, but it’s remarkable a RB has the best 2 years of his career at 34 and 35, regardless of how phenomenal his OL was.
