That's pretty close to my yearly, and I consider myself middle class.

I've had my knees scoped twice and headed for a third one. I probably would need someone to carry me around in 1900 because I wouldn't be able to move without having my knees cleaned up.

Then or now? Then, easily. Given my post in the "highways as powergrids" thread, to say otherwise would make me a liar. A simpler time would be greatly welcome by this guy. Today's world isn't the one I envisioned growing up in the sixties. Ethics and morals are a bygone notion.

i don't know if i could live in a pre-civil rights movement time. while living like a baller in 1900 would be great, i think living in a time where people are treated more equally is more important to me

Hmmm - knowing that it's yearly would make me rethink my answer.

If I could make what I make per year now, hands down now. But $70k/year then would be LOTS. I dunno.
