Mercilus has been a force as a pass rusher since being drafted by Houston. He has seen some injuries the last few seasons but appears healthy and can be an excellent pick up. I realize he is not an every down guy but the way this season has been going he could be a key piece if we have anyone miss time with injuries.

I dont know at this point if he is worth a roster spot. Seems like offense is what needs to be focused on. Saints desperately need a RB and WR, maybe oline help if Terron and McCoy cant heal up.
