The OLine was going to be our problem all year long anyway, but without Carr…. We are really screwed now. That said the line was gonna get him hurt at some point. So cause and effect, but in any case with Carr out for more than a month…. The season may be down the drain now.

We had to at that point. Up until then we were just sacrificing QB’s.

The backbreaking play was 3rd snd 6 delay of game that took us out of FG range earlier in the game.
Still were in range.
Easy??? That is utter and complete nonsense. You act like they were moving up and down the field while he was in there.

On one pass in the red zone they were lucky the pass got batted. Carr was throwing into double coverage...again.
gtfo with that.
I won’t tell you to gtfo for having a different opinion as you just did to Barnes…but I do agree with him. We’d have gotten a couple more first downs and that’s all we needed to hold on.

That's a lot of baseless assuming given what we've seen all 3 weeks. I can assume Carr would have thrown his weekly bad int (like he almost did again in the red zone). Then they lose by more than 1 point.

I've watched Saints games since the early 80s so I wasn't around to see the garbage lines in the 70s. This is the WORST offensive line I have ever seen the Saints have. They can't run block. They can't pass block. They hold, They have pre snap penalties. They are just bad. What has happened? This is basically the same line as last year. What is Doug Marrone doing??? It doesn't matter who is playing quarterback. You could have the lovechild of Brees, Montana, Brady, Marino, Elway, Peyton, Fouts, and Mahomes playing quarterback. That offensive line would get them killed.

The O-line is so bad. Kamara is going to struggle running behind this oline play.
The play calling is unimaginative. Looked like the receivers were playing in the street in those last few drives.
The defense is man press... wasn't the same without Adebo, the zone they tried looked like arse.

Going from Brees at QB to mediocrity is boring to watch. I would rather trade into the top 5 and draft the young qb of the future. They will be running for their life behind the horrible oline but at least it would be exciting.

Agree to disagree. 😊 it ain’t that serious to me, and I respect your right to your opinion.

Are you joking? He did nothing while he was in. Ok he threw for one td. Please you know it’s the play calling and o line.
Obviously I’m not and others aren’t obviously. Did you miss the 12 or 13 first downs? He wouldn’t have gotten us a few first downs? Oline was fine with Jameis honestly bc we ran plays to get the ball out quicker. Even though he tried to throw a few picks

Agreed except I do think we’d have gotten two or three more first downs. Which would have allowed time to run out.

Can't pin it on one thing.

O-line sucks.
Carr gets hurt, no he didn't hold it for too long. Protection sucks.
Winston comes in and either playcalling is too soft or he isn't clicking with this group IDK.
Nothing but 3 and outs.
Defense is gassed quickly- plus it's been a short week with two consecutive road games.
Defense folds like a cheap lawnchair.
Game.
He did hold it too long…he’s done it all season. Not excusing the horrible OL
