I wouldn't mind this as Bucks replacement.
BTW, am I the only one who thinks that Gumbel is the absolute worst? I mean, he makes Kornholer and Dierdorf sound like geniuses. I have a hard time listening to the game with sound.

Wow, that's just bad all the way around.

I think it was Bill Simmons that wrote this week that the Cleveland - Tampa Bay matchup may be the worst game the NFL has seen in many years.........no playoff implications, no valuable fantasy football participants (especially since this is the "Superbowl" weekend for most fantasy leagues and there is no way you made it to the final game with any players from the Yucks or the Clowns), and not even a battle for the 1st pick in the 2007 draft (Detroit or Oakland have dibs).

I like Stockton more than Buck personally. Joe Buck just seems dull and unenthusiastic during the whole game.

Lol what happened to Ron Pitts? Remember when he would call like all the Saints games. I haven't seen him since the first Bucs game. I guess since the Saints started gettin national recognition, they started given us the A and B announcer teams.

Joe Buck is a baseball guy first last and always...he sucks at the NFL.

I'm not one to be too overly critical of a broadcast team, but I was willing and open-minded to give Gumbel a shot. His brother's pretty darn good IMHO, so maybe he wouldn't be half-bad either; however, Bryant's pompous delivery and snooty voice sounds more fit for a wine & cheese party than a football game. Despite that, I do like his honest, off-the-cuff comments at times, especially a couple of weeks ago questioning whether "Thursday Night Football" is worth the time & money to put into a big production in the middle of the week. If the NFLN does continue broadcasting games, which they will likely will, I hope they do change the talent in the booth...and that goes for Collinsworth too.
