Yep, but there are many that are definitely in the camp of Trust in Payton and I wanted to see if it overwhelms the other choices combined..

I don't see it as a way out but the correct vote. No one here knows anywhere close to what Payton knows about the situation and the abilities of the 2 based on what he has seen in practices, film, and their ability to read defences pre-snap making adjustments accordingly, also, going through the progressions post snap on passing plays. Fans simply can't know nearly as much as Payton and the other coaches do.

Did we hear out of Payton's own mouth that Taysom is the starter? I find it hard to believe that SP unequivocally said this.

Wouldn't that be a kick in the keister if this was a subterfuge and JW did start.
