We truly lacked leadership at the end of this season. Reason we won the Super Bowl is we had true leaders on that team like Fujita and Vilma. Guys that never took off plays like Kamara and Lattimore. Who I still believe in btw. Even Graham had a fire when he played. We need that swagger back. Never say die attitude.

Shockey was decent when he was here. But after he threw people under the bus I no longer cared for him. Lots of other TE's we've had that I would put over him.

Indeed. Check out Jared Cook's numbers this year, despite his slow start, vs Shockey. That doesn't speak to blocking of course, but . . . I'm not pining for Shockey.
