Who is your underdog going into camp? (1 Viewer)

The underdog is Haener. I am not expecting him to make the team, but going on thread title alone without being possessive..., Haener is the underdog this camp.
I could see Haener fall into the career backup role. That said, it would probably be easy to stash him on the practice squad if you needed to. I'd bet he stays on as a third QB this year, though.

That's how I see it going. The unforeseen would be dropping Haener if some veteran becomes available they could see as a good locker room guy / emergency player once the battle is sorted out for a starter among the young guys.

I think Dekkers is destined for the practice squad if they see enough they like about him as a developmental player. Can't see him beating anybody out to make the 53 man roster this year. With the attention that will need to be given to first determining a starter, then getting that player as ready for the regular season as possible, I don't see Dekkers getting much proving time during training camp and preseason. I think he's essentially a camp arm with possibly enough upside to keep around as a project.

Hoping they can get something out of Isaiah Foskey this year with the new scheme. He's as much sink-or-swim on D just like Kendre Miller is on O.
I’d say he’s got even more to prove as he’s shown nada. Miller at least shows some burst when he’s been able to play. Jmo.

For me I’m really rooting for Matavao and Diggs. We need help desperately at TE and edge imo, so would love for those two to show out. Dekkers also just for the fun of it.

Great thread idea OP.
