As usual, there are 6 to 8 suspects, but who really killed it? No posts on this board since Sunday and I'm not even sure that post was about video games.

Bathesda tried to kill the VG for years by putting out all those crappy Fallout games instead of making another Elder Scrolls game that is not an MMO, but it never worked before.
Like water over stone, it finally wore the place down?

DLC
Pre-ordering
Loot boxes
Season Passes

....and the yambags that pay for them.

44 year-olds that play Battle Royal Games is the correct answer.

And aren't you the yambag that plays PUBG and played Hearthstone, the ultimate pay-to-win app with loot boxes that you paid for gladly while acting like a drunken 14 year-old chimpanzee?

As far as DLC and season passes, neither of those harmed gaming or the VG. You are as dumb as usual. Nobody has to pay for those things and they extend the time period that a game remains viable. Plus, DLC and season passes are cheaper than buying a brand new $60 game that has an 8 to 10 hour campaign. Gaming gives you more value per dollar today than it ever has.
