e4500, you should have the poster that came with it, the one thing they dont' tell you though, is power cycle the modem, then turn on the new router. the new router HAS TO BE THE FIRST NETWORK MAC ADDRESS the modem sees when it is powered on. so power on the modem, then the new router. don't have the old one on when power it up. some modems have a reset button in rear, you can hold a variance of 10 - 30 sec, some if hold 30, it doesn't reset.. ugh.
put the cd in .. DON"T enable guest wireless on it. , do enable wpa2 psk, and put a passkey in .
