All of our runners have shown skills. Mike Bell is our leading rusher. Pierre Thomas ran for 126 yards in a half. Lynell Hamilton Scored his 1st rushing TD. Bush is more of a slasher. Who do you think should be the starter?

We have no starting running back. They'll all share the load because each brings something different and effective to our O. Who gets the first touch is irrelevant in this offense.

What does a RB have to do to actually 'start' ? Does he have to be the first RB on the field? Thats always reggie. Does he have to be there on most 3rd downs? That is reggie. Does he have to be able to catch the ball out of the backfield? Thats Reggie. Is this thread always lurking around somewhere? Yes. Is this the worst thread ever? yes. Do you know what you are talking about when is comes to the running backs of the Saints. No.

it doesn't matter at all, obviously you feed Thomas and Bell as much as you can and have Reggie involved. Hamilton is great to have as a short yardage bull but mainly he's just insurance. When Bell, Thomas, and Bush are healthy I don't think Hamilton is activated

lus-un2: Yep......all three should split carries with Pierre getting the bulk for them for right now. Let Mike Bell work his way back into the rotation since his knee is the freshest injury. For the sake of this game coming up, Pierre Thomas for sure with Reggie doing what he does.
