If you had control of the first round pick. What would you do with it?

Trade with the Cowboys and pick up their 2-1st rd picks.

22nd - Mike Jenkins, CB
28th - Dan Connor, LB

That way in the second round we can pick the best DT. I like Pat Sims.

in this order... 1.Glenn Dorsey 2.Vernon Gholston 3.Sedrick Ellis 4.Ryan Clady 5.Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie 6.Keith Rivers 7.Leodis McKelvin trade down from 10 if these players are gone...

If Ellis or Dorsey is there at 10, I'd take them. However, I don't think either one will be and I don't want to trade up because I'd rather we keep what picks we have. So going on who will likely be at 10, I said Rivers because we need a good, young linebacker because Morgan likely isn't the long-term answer and Rivers is a pretty good bet to be at worst a solid starter in the pros.

LOL!

I took Ellis.

Several on the list are not going in the top 9, to put it gently.

Several can't possible still be there that late, 10.

So I took an extreme outside possibility. Hey, Its just talk here.

I'm so glad that this new and original topic is being brought up. The options in the poll are including some guys that will never get taken at 10 and excludes some that might be viable options. Honestly, Limas Sweed? Brandon Flowers? How about some guys that might actually help our team, like Kentwan Balmer or Jeff Otah?

My thoughts exactly

Dorsey/Ellis but since they won't be there at 10 I chose the more realistic pick in my view, DRC
