Oddly enough, I'm actually in agreement with (gulp) Cowboys coach Bill Parcells who, after Romo's game against the Bucs, told a group of giddy reporters that "we've got a ways to go here. So put the anointing oil away, OK?"
You want to know which quarterbacks are worthy of our fervent admiration? Tom Brady. Peyton Manning. Brett Favre, though it's been awhile since he's been Brett Favre. Carson Palmer's for real, and McNabb and Steve McNair have done a few things over the years. Ben Roethlisberger has had a pretty decent start to his career, and I think it's safe to say at this point that Drew Brees and Matt Hasselbeck can play in this league.
