Because the web site is a hideous pile of overstuffed bloatware that takes longer to load than Rickey Jackson's career lasted?

It would be quicker, and less annoying, to swim the Atlantic, walk to Canton, knock on the door, ask the guy who opens it if Rickey could please be admitted to the HOF - and be told "No. We changed the rules, and its Falcons only."

I agree. That site is extremely wonky, and that's being generous. As a former website designer, the sheer bombasticness of that site makes me want to destroy the internet.

Huh? The people that vote for HOFers are the sportswriters from around the country, not a bunch of people from Ohio

Exactly, not the fans, but sports writers & the folks or ppl who run the HoF in Canton, which is in Ohio, take their votes into account, not ours. You guys should really read what others post before you get things confused.
