Why do our DBs NEVER turn their head around to look for the ball? (1 Viewer)

I swear, I honestly can't remember the last time I saw a replay of a play and saw one of our DBs actually looking for the ball. For all the good we say about Dennis Allen, this is ****in inexcusable. You probably have at least an 80% chance of giving up the completion if you just try in sheer futility to shield the ball away with your body.
 
And to correct you, the player that should have turned around was Davis

Because you don't know if it's an over the top or back shoulder throw,.

If you turn and ball hasn't been thrown, your reiciever is gone.

lol just no. Other teams' DBs regularly look back. That's HOW you actually defend passes. You have basically zero chance to stop a completion if you don't even know where the ball is.
