For a minute Durant was the best until he got injured. With his big game play Leonard held on to the title. As they say however the more things change the more they stay the same. Coupled with his Buddy A.D, Lebron and the Lakers are taking the NBA by storm. With Lebron, Davis found a player that could get the best out of him.

This is what makes Lebron the best player in basketball. He is able to make a team better than what they should be and gets the most of what he can from his supporting cast. This year as a point guard his stats are monstrous. 25.9 ppg and 11 ast a game to go with 6.8rpg.

No offense to K.D and Leonard they are very great but not in same stratosphere as James. Neither one of those players could have come close to elevating Cleveland to the finals two years ago. They had a brief moment as the best players in the N.B.A, now James has snatched that torch right out of their hands.

Zion looks to be the next great NBA player

kawhi is the most dominant in playoffs, until proven otherwise. lebron is the peyton manning of nba when it comes to closing important games, especially playoffs.

Because Zion hasnt blocked him , then dunked it in his face.

Yet.

Zion seems to be the most impossible player to defend since Shaq. Any player who's quickness is in the same stratosphere as Zion's is at an insane size/strength disadvantage, and vice versa.

And the crazy thing is that he's still a few games away from game shape.
