A thread about an Article posted earlier claimed that the Saints are ready to make a run.

Not so fast New Orleans is coming off the bye with M.T still hurt. This guy is the most consistent reciever in the NFL. He's not dominant in the Classic sense that if he catches one he'll go yard. Instead he is dangerous cause it is almost impossible to prevent him from making a catch. He can catch a ball any place from any angle right in front of a defenders face. At almost a career 80 percent catch rate he is almost a guarantee to move the chains on any play. M.T is as close to a cheat code in football that you can get. He is the equivalent of a running back if it did exist of getting you 5 yards guaranteed each carry.

His play gives the offense great consistency which has been missing since he left. With him in lineup the Saints have far fewer three and outs and more clock sustaining drives. Saints don't necessarily score more points with M.T they just have better T.O.P which helps out the Defense immensely.

Second, thier defense has to continue to improve. The final 11 games on the Saints schedule are no cakewalk.

Third, the Saints have a fairly tough remaining schedule. In one stretch, they play 5 road games in 7 weeks. On thier return from bye the first three games are at home with Carolina and two tough road tilts with Chicago and Tampa. Not to mention Saints still have to play K.C, S.F, Philly, Atlanta twice, go to Carolina and a tough road game in Denver.

These are just a few reasons why it'll be tough for N.O to go on a big roll. Its easier and more realistic to think of why the Saints won't vs will go on a run. N.O will still make the playoffs and perhaps win the division, but there is a tough long road ahead. That long journey starts on Sunday with Carolina visiting the Dome. One week at a time is what it'll take for the Saints to be successful.

Saints went a role with Teddy Bridgewater after looking like hot garbage the first 2 games. I take my chances with the saints Win or lose

What are you talking about ?
We started bad the last 3 years and got hot found ways to win . Everyone in the league talked about how deep our depth was best roster etc now it’s time to show. Have faith. All that needs to be down is Dennis Allen has to pay attention to detail , make adjustments better and start coaching , Payton just needs to come with good sound overall game plans
