1. Payton questioned his own playcalling... so look for us to pound the ball inside the 10 yard line... and cut out the Red zone turnovers

2.Deuce and Reggie will combine for over 150yds rushing... ball control... the Falcons are banged up on Defense up front... look for Reggie to get to edge a few times... pounding the ball will open up the long pass for Brees

3. The saints Defense and Sean Payton knows how to shutdown vick... monday night game he threw for 137yds and ran for 50 that was it

4. Marques Colston will play and Get a TD in the Red zone... because he is a big target for Brees in the Red Zone

5. the past few weeks we played desperate teams... and this week we are the desperate team... and we are seeking a win badly

6. Defense will get 1INT and Recover a Fumble from Vick

7.We will win the turnover battle

8. The falcons Receivers drop the most passes...when vick finally gets them the ball there they drop it

9.The Falcons do not have any star receivers to burn us deep... we will stop Crumpler

10. we can stop there run game... Defensive line and linebackers will play well around the line of scrimmage... we will keep vick and company under 150 rushing yards

11.The defense will not die out at the end of the game like they have done in the previous weeks...Defense will play 4 quarters... not 3

12. The SAINTS are going to win the Division

Agree on most...but for #5 I think Atlanta is just as desperate, if not more desperate, than us. Remember, we had not beaten a Vick-led Falcon's team until 9/25/06. Two in a row? I don't like the odds, but I am praying.

If #7 is taken care of, the W's will come the rest of the season! THAT single factor alone is the only reason we aren't 10-0, IMHO!

Single most important thing period. The rest will take care of itself.

yea my fav stat right now is how the bears have a +9 turnover differential and the saints have a -9

we are tied for the worst in the league and we are the worst in the confrence in the turnover battle and still tied for 2nd place we HAVE TO FIX THIS then everything will roll

No doubt... first and foremost we have to quit turning the ball over, period. It absolutely :cussing: kills us. Then we need to pound the "run" with Deuce when we get inside the 10 yard line; nothing fancy, just smashmouth football.

I think Mike Vick is one of the finest running backs in the NFL ..........as a QB he's mediocre and running stats aside the have a horribly mediocre offense compounded by a severly depleted defense.

The Falcons running game numbers are inflated by adding Vicks rushing numbers. I don't fear their running game. It's average if you take out Vicks rushing.

The Falcon's represent everything wrong with the world.
The Saints represent everything good and right.

SaintMike is right, Vick is the best "rusher" on the team. Although, you can't count out W. Dunn. He scares me sometimes.

As long as he's right on the #7 fact...we should be OK. Please God, help us win the turnover battle. We're among the worst in TO ratio. That has GOT to improve if we expect to get into the postseason.

Their defense is hurting. Hartwell and Abraham both are coming back from injuries. If now is not the time to pound em with our running game, I don't when it is.

here's what I heard Monday on Sirius after Chris Carter interviewed Sean Payton:

CC voiced his opinion about the Saints running game, noticing the extensive passing by Brees.......he said, he doesn't think Deuce is 100% HEALTHY!....he based his opinion on observing HIS EX-TEAMMATES who had SIMILAR knee Surgeries, and explained that this is the griding part of the season, WHERE THESE INJURIES ARE FLARING UP IN ALMOST EVERY CASES, and even though the players won't admit it PUBLICLY......PRIVATELY THEY STRUGGLE MIGHTILY to play every week! He said that this is the most probable REASON as to why Deuce isn't MORE INVOLVED, and he understands PERFECTLY WELL why Brees has to throw more!.....it is THE PASSING GAME which HAS TO make up the deficiencies in the running game, and that's the MAIN REASON the Saints are passing more!

The Saints have to rely more on the running of Reggie Bush, if they want to be successful running the ball, and that might be a bit more difficult, considering Reggie HAS TO LEARN HOW TO RUN STRAIGHT AHEAD, and not sideways, or backwards!!

or........Brees has to throw more......
