I recently read where Kyle Shanahan will interview for the Broncos HC job, and I was wondering if Dennis Allen will receive an interview for one of the slots available?

While he definitely improved a defense that was ravaged by injury, his unit still finished 25th overall. That's not really going to jump out and grab a GM's attention.

I highly doubt that he has any interviews this off-season.

Highly doubt it. His track record isn't good. If he finished top 5 in defense, he definitely gets an interview. But he won't. Be shocked and would be happy for him if he did.

I don't see this happening until he fields a top 10 unit. His stint at the Raiders is a stink that's hard to wash off.

His time at Denver wasn't much better. I guess he is an improvement over the last two seasons, if that's saying much.

We NEED a DC to stay put longer than a season! This D will never be good if we can't get some stability at DC.

I think we would have found stability a long time ago if the defense was any good. GW (creating turnovers) and Rob Ryan's defenses were real good in year 1, but steadily declined.

Guys like Matt Patricia keep their jobs for so long because they are consistently good. If the Pats Defense begins to suck, then Patricia will be looking for a job.

I think the question came about out of hope, because if DA moves on, we could have a chance to land a stalwart like Wade Phillips.

Wade is goibng on 70 I wonder how long he'll be coaching. I'd rather get a young guru like Terry Austin, but he'll probably be a head coach soon.
