Will Smith Domestic Abuse Case (1 Viewer)

His wife is completely on his side, so I find it tough to see him being convicted with her stone walling the prosecution.

Yeah, if his wife testifies at the grand jury and says it was nothing, then there will be no charges filed. Let's just hope that Will's been nice to her since the incident. :ezbill:

I thought the incident was her fault. Wasn't it reported that some girl was flirting with Will and she got jealous and was trying to fight the girl so Will pulled her away. The cops only saw the part about him pulling her away from the fight and arrested him. If that is what happened, then I see Will trying to diffuse things instead of abusing her. Hopefully the DA sees things the same way.

Sentence him to four weeks at the training facility, to be served concurrently with the star caps suspension.

this plus him probably having to serve the 4 game suspension from the steroid charge.. Not good for him.. If the grand jury formally charges him he might never play again.

I read he was dragging her down the street. Your story would make sense. Maybe he was dragging her away from the fight.

I think that’s a bit much. You know Leonard Little of the Rams actually killed someone while driving drunk, and even after that was arrested for DUI again. He still plays. Donte Stallworth still plays. Mike Vick still plays. Will Smith's career is not going to be ended on a domestic violence accusation.

The fact is he's 30. If he ends up going to jail and serving a years suspension its hard to say.. he could come back motivated, he could not care and "let himself go" and be over weight and never play again.. Sensational yes, impossible, no.
