He appears to be an outstanding defensive coordinator, but I just love that a guy named Don Martindale picks up the nickname "Wink" because it's just too funny of an opportunity to let pass by. And he appears to have embraced it, so cheers to him.

OWINGS MILLS, Md. -- Baltimore Ravens defensive coordinator Don "Wink" Martindale doesn't have much time to revel in the record-breaking performance of his defensewith the New Orleans Saints and the league's highest-scoring offense coming to M&T Bank Stadium Oct. 21.

Led by quarterback Drew Brees, who passed Peyton Manning to become the NFL's all-time passing leader with 72,103 yards Oct. 8, the Saints rank third in the league in total offense and have averaged a league-best 36.0 points a game.

"It's a tough out," said Martindale at his weekly news conference Oct. 18, adding that Brees "should be on the Mount Rushmore of quarterbacks in this league."

Well, I watched that show at my great grandmas, after her ‘stories’ and I remember she cooked with the tub of lard stuff that made chicken so good. ? So I know it had to be mid 80’s.
