Winston out, Red Rifle in (1 Viewer)

If he does great then the Winston bunch will say we changed the O, he had better protection or it’s an anomaly and Winston should play when healthy and the Winston haters will say he’s better than Winston and we are going to the super bowl. If he plays bad the Winston haters will blame the coach and that our offense is stale and vanilla and the Winston haters will say we were without Mike Thomas and half the O line.

The reality is we need a new QB regardless next year, and it won’t be either of them!

Nailed it.

If Dalton goes 23-28-275-2TD’s-0-ints…., I’m sticking with him. If you pull him after a great game, you’d be stupid. I’ll leave it at that.

Not saying that Dalton is Brees, but his pre read style and pocket awareness will be very familiar to what we were use to seeing in years past. Expect dink and dunk, ground and pound, and some big play attempts that stem from the defense cheating up to stop the short passing game. This type of offense will be based to wideout separation and the run game with the Tight ends getting some looks to move the chains. Let’s see if the line holds up and gives the offense a chance to establish themselves.
