Anybody have any ideas why when I put my computer on standby, when it starts back up the wireless internet connection is not able to connect, thus I have to reboot?

Its a common issue on some network adapters. My tactic is to A) look for an updated driver or software, and if that doesn't work, B) set the system to not go into standby, or shut the hard disks off, rather to only shut the display and monitor off after a period of time passes, such as 5-10 minutes. You would set that in Display Properties>Screen Saver then click the "Power..." button at the bottem of that tab.
