Triumph, the Qatari royal family's political views towards LGBT community non-withstanding, the simple, inescapable reality behind Qatari hosting of the WC in the years leading up to the event has been sheetty, atrocious, and unmistakably cruel and inhumane. Especislly considering how they treated tens of thousands of migrant workers with food, medical care, lack of adequate living conditions, using a form of quasi-modern slavery to lure migrant workers from South Asian, Southeast Asian and sub-Saharan African nations to leave their homes in the hopes of making big money, confiscating their passports once they arrive, paying them maybe 1/3th,1/4th of what many were originally promised. Overwork, malnutrition, extreme heat exhaustion, scant, ineffective or little to any medical care for serious injuries suffered on the jpb.Just curious, why?
If seeking a somewhat family atmosphere for a sporting event, I'd imagine the Qatar WC would fit.
This certainly isnt an endorsement of the Qatari royal family's politics, btw.
