WORST 1st round draft picks since 2000 (for each NFL team) (1 Viewer)

don't agree that Bush should of been the runner-up, he might not of lived up to the insane expectations that come with being drafted #2 overall but he did help this team get to two NCFCGs (he scored a TD in each) and helped the team reach/win SB 44

IMO Sedrick Ellis or Patrick Robinson have a better case to be the runner up over Bush

Other than Sullivan I don't think you can call anyone the Saints have drafted in the first round since 2000 a genuine bust

But if had to call a runner up, no way it would be Reggie Bush.

Bush played as recently as last year. He may still play in 2017. He had two 1000+ yard rushing season and another where he nearly broke that threshold. Not to mention the threat he was out of the backfield and in the slot.

Sedrick Ellis and Robert Meachem are both out of the league, not due to injuries, and they were both drafted in years after Bush. Ellis had basically one decent year (2009) and one good (2010). Meachem had three decent years (2009-2011), but could never establish himself as a top two receiver in the system. And besides Colston and later Graham, his competition wasn't exactly that stiff.

It's funny that Glenn Dorsey is the runner-up for the Chiefs. The back-and-forth between Ellis and Dorsey back then (as to who was better) was kind of entertaining, and as it turns out neither one of them were terribly good.

To be fair, Dorsey was never the same after the cheap shot by that Auburn piece of work lineman, I don't think his knee ever fully recovered. When you watched his lateral movement in the NFL compared to college, big difference.
