That's a pretty cool story, they should have disabled comments for that article though......I agree that we should leave the big females to reproduce, but a gar? I am sure there are many more big ones than we have seen or heard about.....that said, CHOOT 'EM BRENT!!!!!

Dat rascal is bigger than the 'Ssippi record caught a couple years back by accident in a net, I'm pretty sure. Come to think of it I'm not so sure. I think I know the website it was posted in though, it had a fishing section. as I recall the other fish was weighed and was a record weight, but the net excluded it from the book. "I think".
