Man who was recently dubbed the most accurate kicker in NFL history is now unemployeed.

Well, he wasn't "dubbed" that as if it's a nickname or anything. It's because at the time he had (has?) the highest field goal made percentage.

Kinda like Jerry Rice is dubbed the WR with the most receptions.

Gramatica actually had a great preseason for the Pats. I don't think he missed a single kick. It was to the point where Pats fans wanted to carry two kickers. The only reason he lost out was they had a pick invested in Gostkowski who also has a stronger leg. I'm surprised Gramatica is still available at this point in the season.
