X-Box One Controller Question (1 Viewer)

Recently, the game Gears of War 5 is no longer recognizing my left toggle joystick push-in option. This is used to mark enemies , weapons, or fabricator; and it also used to crouch. I did a test and all of the buttons and joysticks work. I've tried three different remotes, and it's all the same result.

I have uninstalled the game, reinstalled it, I have reset the X-Box One, and power cycled several times. I have chatted on line with XBOX support, but nothing suggested seems to work. I have NOT tried switching the functions of the two joysticks, because I am so used to playing one way, I don't think it will help. Can anyone give me any insight as to what might be the actual solution?

I don't think so. Other players are still able to mark enemies and items. It's just weird.

Maybe your controller is broken?
