Sony made the right decision sticking with Playstation 2, 3, 4, 5. It's so much easier to remember for the general public, you just buy the highest number available.

This also makes it easier to remember which games came out in what gen. At least for me it does. I had an Xbox and a 360 but it would be hard for them to draw me back now. Sony exclusives are way better and the sole proprietary stuff is what always made me pick one over the other.

I looked into getting the Seagate 1 TB Xbox X|S designed card for my son's Series S.. But it was $215 when I'd just paid $300 for the entire S console. I bought him a SanDisk 1 TB NVMe/SSD instead. It was about $100 cheaper and working so far.
