Carnation, Washington is now cut off from the rest of the state. All the highways leading in and out are closed due to flooding.

When a river flowing past the feet of the Cascades is flooding beyond anything ever recorded, you know that's a lot of rain.

A good friend of mine lives up that way. No work for him today.

The silver lining I suppose is that Snoqualmie Falls is just incredible lately. Something like three-four times the usual volume.
