Your Worst Customer Service Experience (1 Viewer)

I have some serious experiences with the sewerage and water board but i don't want to end the thread by mentioning something impossible to top.

What do you mean?
New doctor specialist bill
Audible books
Power bill
Water bill
Credit card bill
Telephone/internet bill
Banks
Retirement plans
Restaurant takeout, though they often give you a temp password
Financing anything online through a third party
Britbox and the like
Email services

When the website gives you a way of storing it on your device, that helps a lot, though. But that can become a "crutch." You never know when you might actually need the stuff, like when you're on a different device from the usual one.

I love taking care of things online, but it's not perfect. I'll be using gethuman. :9: The.hazard is that you might have to speak with one of the horrible customer representatives in some of the posts above.

I’m guessing you can top this, but FWIW, when i bought my house in Lakeview a few years ago, i noticed after a few months had gone by that we hadnt received a water bill.. i of course didnt mind not having to pay for the water we were using, but i thought it’d probably be wise to have an account with the SWB, just in case somehting ever went wrong- ie something water-related ALWAYS goes wrong, or will eventually, when residing in NOLA... so i placed a couple phone calls, and in about my fourth month living in the new house, a bill finally came to our mailbox.. the tally for the first 3 months: $2400 .............. not a typo... it was one of those deals where it was so absurd, i didnt even get mad, i just laughed.. of course i wasnt laughing when it took a couple dozen phone calls, and a trip down to the SWB HQ on St Joseph St to get it straightened out... even though they are famous for their sheer incompetence, i am convinced that they know what theyre doing, since when we finally received our corrected bill, even though it was probably triple what it should have been- i was happy to pay it becuase at least it was much lower than $2400 for three months.

Ah. Gotcha. I was thrown off by “transaction”. Thought you were signing up multiple times for one site. And yea, I get it but most of my joining is already done. As much as I hate FB, signing in with FB is not a bad thing. And You can also Sign In with Apple on many sites, supposedly without giving personal info.

Yeah, that too. Dell Financial is the worst company ever created. I'd buy my next computer from Fidel Castro before I'd finance with them. I'd rather buy a laptop from Kate from Lost. I don't know how to put this any clearer.
I don't care if Dell is selling life, I would rather die.

This is not quite customer service but can we talk about going to fast food places?

When I was a kid the food was properly wrapped, placed deliberately in the bag, the bag was neatly folded down

Today?

The burgers are wrapped in a way best described as 'haphazard' Why can I see bare bun when I look in the bag?????

and it's not just the paper wrapping. You used to be able to juggle unwrapped Taco Bell burritos or McDonald's breakfast burritos

Not anymore, now more often than not the tortilla is 'loosely' wrapped and often half open with the filling falling out

More than once my fries were literally upside down

There is that giant ball of napkins that come from that stupid 'one at a time' dispenser

The bag is wide open, the bag is often barely big enough for the food

And this isn't a particular location or chain - it's a widespread issue

End rant

I’d be curious to see the difference between longevity in FF restaurants today vs years ago
Also I bet it’s a much shorter training session
