With all due respect, I don't see how one relates to the other. Those guys play different positions, one is a backup the other is a borderline elite pass rusher.

He played DE in college, but everything I've seen from him in the NFL has been at DT.

Edwards is more of a Cam Jordan style DE...a bigger guy who plays the run and can shift inside. I still think we need a pass rush specialist to sub in for Cam and Davenport.

Makes sense. Also makes me wonder if they’re not allowing teams to perform physicals? Not sure if that’s protocol before signings or not.

My apologies, at this point in their careers yes, but I would say Davenport has far more upside. Ansah is very good but hasn't quite lived up to his draft hype. The advantage Ansah has over Davenport is way more NFL game reps.
