• Saints head coach Sean Payton said Drew Brees (right shoulder) and Michael Thomas (ankle, hamstring) will be game day calls for Week 9.
  The New Orleans Advocate's Luke Johnson said he believes both Brees and Thomas will be active against the Bucs this Sunday. "We'll see," Payton said when asked if Brees or Thomas would play this week. "I thought we had a good week of preparation. And we'll wait 'til gameday." Fantasy managers should keep tabs on the Saints' inactives, just in case.
