Peaking too early? (1 Viewer)

Ravens are gonna be in the Superbowl, Patriots are being watched to closely now.. they cant tape opposing team practices to get ahead. No team is good enough to be in every spot at the correct time on every single down.

A great offense could beat the Ravens. The Chiefs would be my guess in the AFC. And there are a few good offenses in the NFC, including ours. Ravens special teams are average, and were awful against the Jets. They are the best team now, but I'd still take the field over them this year. We'll see....

Lamar is great, but he’ll have to have a miracle to not get a knee injury in his career. It’s not just the hits he takes as a runner, it’s his body composition and the type of shifty runs he uses. He does this specific move where he sets up a tackler by running at them, hard planting on his right leg and darting left. All it’ll take is someone catching that plant leg on a tackle and his knee is gone. I hope I’m wrong. Watch some of his runs and you’ll know what I’m talking about.

Looks like Niners peaked too early... LOL
THEY played their super bowl against the saints...now have to worry about seattle LOL

The Ravens and the Lamar Jackson light show are the new "sexy" that is happening in the NFL much like the Patrick Mahomes show last season.

I give Jackson 3 years with his style of play in the NFL and he'll be broken just like his backup was broken a few years ago.

No he will be literally broken the way he keeps running the ball. He's going to have a short shelf life at this rate.

Why is it last year, both Saints and Rams were “peaking too early” mid to end of season stacking up wins...yet this year the Ravens, everyone is saying they’re unstoppable, look how amazing the quarterback is etc...blah blah...winning and winning but not peaking too early?

saints drops a gamehere and there, and it’s what’s wrong with Drew Brees...same with Patriots... Ravens will be one and done.. they can get the bye etc..but they’re on a roll...non stop and that momentum stops last game of season, resting starters, then the break, they’ll be rusty and the nerves they’ll be flat come playoffs...

saints have learned to win ugly, win easily, lose badly, lose closely, etc...and are very battle tested... saints will be ready and the 49ers game hit Sean Payton in the gut, as he was “out Sean Paytoned by shananhan.. saints will be ready for playoffs....remember..Drew is the HEALTHIEST, freshest quarterback left in the league...his arm is strong and no fatigue...
Your profile pic is peeking early lol

When you lose 4 of your top 20 players to injury that's not peaking too early that's not having enough octane to move the engine fast enough. With the defense struggles, it emphasizes the offense struggles without a second WR and Kamara either not getting healthy or losing a step(we wont know till after the season). Rest Kamara until the end of the season Payton(Please!).

They actually remind me a lot of Carolina 2015 season(?). Carolina was killing teams on offense with running the ball and shot plays. Which allowed it’s defense to go in and stymie opposing offenses that had to rely on passing to catch up on the score.

They were flying high until 5he met up with a pass rush that could neutralize Newton and that run game and forced Superman to try to win it strictly with his arm. It demoralized him and the team was basically bullied the entire game. That final score wasn’t really indicative of just how dominating the Broncos‘s D was that day.

Although Lamar is miles better at passing than his rookie year, he’s still an at doing it. I really believe that an unlikely team is going to expose the Ravens in the playoffs and send them home far earlier than anyone expects.

I wonder if it will be the Bills lol.
